This guide walks you through creating an ESET Connect integration for use with Synqly's EDR Connector.
- Access to ESET Platform.
- Superuser or Root privileges to create a new user.
Log in to your ESET Hub console using your Superuser credentials.
- Navigate to Users in the ESET Hub Console and click Add User.
- Provide a valid email address for the new user and click Next.
- Under Permissions select Read for Company and Access for ESET PROTECT.
- Enable the toggle next to Integrations.
- Click Next and then click Create.
| Permission | Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Company | Read | Query organization-level information, endpoints, and alerts |
| ESET PROTECT | Access | Access endpoint data, detections, and security events from the ESET PROTECT module |
| Integrations | Enabled | Enable API access for authentication via the ESET Connect API |
The new user receives an invitation email to continue with the creation process. The new user must log in to ESET PROTECT Hub at least once before using the API.
Open the Protect module in your ESET PROTECT Platform. Once the module is open, check the address in your browser. It should look something like: https://eu02.protect.eset.com/. The first two letters indicate the region where your account is located.
To configure a new ESET Connect integration in the Synqly system, provide each of the values as defined below:
| Integration Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Client ID | The email of the new user/account created in the previous step |
| Client Secret | The password of the user/account created in the previous step |
| Region | The region where your account is located. |
