## Introduction

Ivanti Neurons ITAM provides comprehensive IT service and asset management capabilities. This guide walks you through the steps to gather the necessary information and configure your Ivanti Neurons organization for the purpose of creating an integration with Synqly's Asset connector.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

- Access to the Ivanti Neurons Console
- Administrator privileges to create app registrations

## Creating an App Registration in Ivanti Console

Before you begin, ensure that you have access to an Ivanti Console instance with administrator privileges to create app registrations.

### 1. Access the Ivanti Neurons Console

Log in to your Ivanti Console instance using your administrator credentials.

### 2. Create an App Registration

Navigate to **Admin > App Registrations** in the Ivanti Console. Select the **New registration** button to open the registration panel. From the drop-down menu, select **Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and ITAM** and click **Continue**. Click **Register** to generate the authentication settings.

### 3. Copy the Authentication Details

In the Complete this registration panel, the authentication settings are provided. Copy the values of:

- Neurons Auth Url
- Client ID
- Client Secret


## Configuring the Integration

To configure a new Ivanti Asset integration in the Synqly system, provide each of the values as defined below:

| Integration Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Account ID | The UUID portion between the hostname and the endpoint path from the Neurons Auth Url |
| Client ID | The Client ID gathered when creating the app registration |
| Client Secret | The Client Secret value gathered when creating the app registration |
| Base URL | The hostname from the Neurons Auth Url (e.g., `https://nvuprd-sfc.ivanticloud.com`) |


**Note:** The Token URL should not be set/configured when configuring the Integration.
