## Introduction

Ironscales is a cloud-based email security product. This guide shows you how to get the information you need from your Ironscales company to configure an Ironscales Email Security integration.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

- An Ironscales plan that includes App API Support
- Access to an Ironscales user account with either the Admin or Owner role
- Knowledge of which Ironscales region hosts your company


## Required API Permissions

| Scope | Purpose |
|  --- | --- |
| `company.all` | Read incidents and their details |


## Gathering API Credentials

1. Select **Company & Group Settings > Company Settings**
2. Select **Account Settings > General & Security**
3. Copy the value in the field titled **APP API Token** and store it in a safe location
4. Copy the value in the field titled **Company ID**


## Configuring the Integration

To configure a new Ironscales integration, provide each of the values as defined below:

| Integration Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Secret | The **APP API Token** value that you copied in the steps above. |
| Company ID | The **Company ID** value that you copied in the steps above. |
| Region | The Ironscales region that hosts your company |
