This guide walks you through gathering the credentials needed to create a Datadog SIEM integration in Synqly. ## Obtain Datadog Credentials ### 1. Get your API Key Log in to your Datadog account. Navigate to **Organization Settings > API Keys**. Click **+ New Key**, give it a name, and click **Create Key**. Copy the key value — it is shown only once. Store it securely. For more information, see [Datadog API and Application Keys](https://docs.datadoghq.com/account_management/api-app-keys/). ### 2. Get your Application Key Navigate to **Organization Settings > Application Keys**. Click **+ New Key**, give it a name, and click **Create Key**. Copy the key value — it is shown only once. Store it securely. The application key is required for querying events and alerts. ### 3. Identify your Datadog site Determine which Datadog site your organization uses (e.g. `datadoghq.com` for US1, `datadoghq.eu` for EU1, `us3.datadoghq.com` for US3). You can find this in your browser's address bar when logged in. For the full list, see [Datadog Sites](https://docs.datadoghq.com/getting_started/site/). ## Configure the Integration Create your integration by supplying the following values: **Credential (API Key)** The API key obtained in step 1. **Application Key Credential** The application key obtained in step 2. **Site** Your Datadog site identifier (e.g. `datadoghq.com`). Defaults to `datadoghq.com` if not specified.
