## Introduction

Claroty xDome is a comprehensive platform for securing operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS). This guide walks you through the steps to gather the necessary information and configure your Claroty xDome organization for the purpose of creating an integration with Synqly's Asset connector.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

- Access to the Claroty xDome Console
- Administrator privileges to create API users and tokens


## Required User Permissions

| Operation | Claroty User Permission |

| Query Devices | No additional permissions required |


### 1. Access Claroty xDome Console

Log in to your Claroty xDome Console using your administrator credentials.

### 2. Navigate to User Management

Click the **Settings** tab in the navigation bar and select **Admin Settings** from the drop-down menu. The sidebar menu will appear along the left side of the dashboard. Click **User Management** in the Admin Panel section.

### 3. Create an API User

Click the **Add User** button. In the Create User dialog that opens, click to select **API User**. Fill in and select the required fields, then click **Create User**.

## Creating an API Token

Before you begin, ensure that you have access to the API user created in the previous steps.

### 1. Locate the API User

Find the user you created in the table listed on the User Management page.

### 2. Generate a Token

Hover over the Status column and click the **Generate Token** link.

### 3. Save the API Token

Copy and save the API token securely. You will not be able to retrieve it after closing the dialog.

## Configuring the Integration

To configure a new Claroty xDome integration in the Synqly system, provide each of the values as defined below:

| Integration Parameter | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| Secret | The API Token created in the previous steps |
| Base URL | The base URL for the REST API (e.g., `https://api.claroty.com`) |
